Hey y'all, it's Friday, and I figured it would be fun to start a series of five random tidbits, your daily recommended intake of infotainment, potentially daily but no guarantees, most likely a Friday weekly thing. It'll be a spur of the moment thing for now. It'll be anything from memes, recipes, something I made, funny events, short clips, recommendations --- anything I think is cool enough to share!
I'm not sponsored by any of these links and don't make any money off them, I just think they're neat.

A festive fall recipe for pumpkin mac and cheese. I make this at least once a year, it's sooo creamy and lets me embrace my hashtag basic side. It turns into this fantastic orange that just screams comfort food. Top with pepitas for that added crunch, and you've got a killer friendsgiving potluck dish.

Just cause I'm proud of these eco-friendly mugs I designed, made of wheat straw.

An oldie but goodie from one of my favorite podcasts, Boring Books for Bedtime. This podcast is fantastic for dealing with my unending insomnia, where it's really just as it says on the tin. Every week, she reads a boring, copyright-free book in a calm voice with some royalty-free music in the background. If you don't fall asleep quickly, you get to learn some niche bit of knowledge, which personally, I can never get enough of. This episode feels relevant to the frantic shopping and impending holidays, a reading of the 1897 edition of the Sears Roebuck & Co. Catalog, Books Department. It's a fantastic way to shut off your brain at the end of the day.
